Scholar spotlight: Nidhi Khosla

Path to MU:
After finishing her Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, Khosla accepted a tenure-track position in the MU Department of Health Sciences.

Current work:
Khosla’s current research focuses on vulnerable populations’ access to healthcare, as well as end-of-life care for South Asian people who live in the United States.

Current goals:
In addition to producing meaningful research that can improve people’s experiences with the healthcare system, Khosla hopes to equip her students to be effective healthcare professionals.

Biggest surprise about Columbia:
Khosla was surprised by the great places for hiking in Columbia and fun hangouts like Uprise Bakery.
